Blue is the Warmest Color picks up new awards in the USA

The National Society of Film Critics has honored the film by Abdellatif Kechiche with its award for Best Foreign Language Film.

Following recent awards from film critics' associations in Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco, Blue is the Warmest Color continues to rake in prizes in the United States, now honored with the Best Foreign Language Film Award from the National Society of Film Critics, which is made up of around sixty prominent critics from top US media outlets. Note that the French cinematographer Bruno Delbonnel also added an award to his collection, for his work on Inside Llewyn Davis by the Coen brothers.

A few days later, Adèle Exarchopoulos received, from the hands of Léa Seydoux, the Best female newcomer award at the National Board of Reviews Awards. A ceremony where The Past, by Asghar Farhadi, received the coveted award of the Best Foreign film of the year, this time from the hands of Bérénice Bejo.
