Jacques Doillon letter about Rodin

As he was finally unable to go to Tokyo to present Rodin, Jacques Doillon sent a letter, which was read as an introduction to the film's screening. Below is an excerpt:
"Rodin loved Japan. He spoke of "marvelous" Japan, of the vigor and power with which nature is understood and expressed there. I hope that my film inspires you to love Rodin's oeuvre even more. In Shizuoka, you can admire thirty-two of his bronzes, and fifty of his sculptures can be seen at the National Museum of Western Art. Lastly, you will see that the film ends in Japan, at the Hakone Open-Air Museum, where we wanted to film our Balzac".
