But how can one do this when one has decided to do nothing ? All the difficulty of living well, without working and staying honest.
Jean-Charles Tacchella decided to shoot "Seven Sundays" in Sarasota, Florida, after falling in love with the place when he came to present his film "Dames galantes" at the 1990 French Film Festival. He visited the island of Anna Maria, looking for the places that Georges Simenon had lived in between 1946 and 1947. He didn't find Simenon's house but he found the ideal setting for the screenplay of "Seven Sundays". He then rewrote the story so that it would fit in with contemporary American reality.
