A marriage agency hooked up to the web: that's the gift that Geneviève Lechat, a very sexy fifty-year-old, manageress of Happy Hearts, decides to give her son. This would be a blessing for André, an ethnologist, caught up in his poetic dreams, if fate didn't immediately dump a client like Jean Morlaud on his path. Tired of selling cars, this Parisian bachelor has just bought a farm and wants the farmer's wife to go with it. Jean is in a hurry and demands immediate results whereas André recommends patience and an open mind. His motto is "Everything comes to him who waits". The numerous picturesque characters move through increasingly outlandish situations. In end, happiness turns out to lie... in the unexpected.
"There are 10 million single people in France. That's astounding ! That means almost a quarter of the adult population is looking for a partner ! The surveys, small ads, internet and paying dinners organized by private individuals highlight this distress. But, remember, looking for a woman doesn't mean looking for a piece of ass, it's different and more sincere. In "Les Dragueurs", I spoke about a more permissive society, a time of seduction when the pill was still a novelty... "Wedding Band Looking for the Right Finger" shows a sentimental and moral quest."
