For Doria, a twenty-eight-year-old actress, life is sometimes complicated. Constantly on the hunt for a role, always attracted to the wrong guy, she's having trouble establishing a stable life.
The celebration of her father's birthday is an occasion for the family to get together. Max, her father, is an inveterate poker player, as substantial as his cigar smoke. Things have always been difficult between Doria and her sister Alice. Why? On this particular evening, between two gulps of whiskey, the two sisters will let it all hang out and things long unsaid will come pouring out.
