Abel Rothstein, an undercover cop, is forced to go to Poland to be the partner of Marek Brezeczyszczkiewicz, a crazy cop with very loose morals.
The two men are confronted by an unusual case: a series of kidnappings involving several young women, who’ve later been found dead. The mounting toll of bodies demands action, particularly as Jane Woods, the ex-wife of the United States Consul in Poland has also disappeared. There’s every indication that she has also fallen into the hands of the kidnappers.
A race against time is underway, and the cops’ tasks made more difficult when one of them must struggle with the Russian Mafia represented by the notorious Sacha Roublev, a powerful businessman. Their personal differences also get in the way and hinder their investigation. But when they discover the horrific fates dished out to the young women – sacrificial lambs to the snuff movie trade – they resolve to overcome their differences and join forces. Their investigation leads them to a mysterious castle/hotel built on the ruins of a labyrinth of tunnels dating from World War II. Here the young women are imprisoned and their cries echo from the depths…
