The short film directed by Delphine Priet-Mahéo has picked up the Best Animated Film Award in the International Competition at the Teheran International Short Film Festival.
The director, who hails from the city of Rennes, has enjoyed a fruitful fall season, with her film selected at numerous festivals in France and abroad. This week, Joint Tenants will premiere in Great Britain when it is presented at the Manchester Animation Festival, and next week it will feature in the European Competition at the Villeurbanne Short Film Festival.
Since winning the UniFrance-Movistar Short Film Prize in May this year, Joint Tenants has been showcased at a number of events supported by Unifrance, France's international film promotion agency. Unifrance will notably present the film at the upcoming French Cinepanorama in Hong Kong. It will also be screened in Paris on December 11 at the Forum des Images, as part of the Carrefour du Cinéma d'Animation event.
