One year after Arco won the Cristal Award for Best Feature Film—an award that, just a few weeks after its world premiere at Cannes, launched the magnificent international career we’ve come to know for Ugo Bienvenu’s film— French animation returns from the 2026 Annecy International Animation Film Festival with a host of awards, starting with the three won by Louis Clichy's Iron Boy, a film produced by Eddy and sold internationally by Playtime, which also had its world premiere at Cannes (in Un certain regard). Three awards also went to the short film God is Shy, a Remembers production.
Unifrance warmly congratulates the teams behind all the award-winning films and celebrates this latest demonstration of the unparalleled vitality of French animation and its international influence.
