Released in 20 countries to date, “Love Me If You Dare” is pursuing a successful international career.
As is often the case in this region, “Love Me If You Dare” was sold in the Ukraine by a Russian distributor. The film was released in Russia on November 18 last year on 40 prints, attracting over 47,000 spectators. In the Ukraine, its distributor Le Créateur began with a small-scale release. First launched in Kiev on 2 prints in April, the film quickly proved a hit with local audiences. Outscoring the blockbusters “XXX 2: The Next Level” and “The Babysitter” in terms of admissions figures per print, its distributors lost no time in upping the number of prints in circulation. Currently boasting a running total of over 16,000 admissions, the film is still showing in theaters in August.
