A high-profile delegation will represent France at this year's 35th TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) - 2010, which hosts the biggest film market in North America.
Big names including Catherine Deneuve, Kristin Scott Thomas, Marion Cotillard, Vincent Cassel, Lambert Wilson, Romain Duris, Guillaume Canet, Ludivine Sagnier, フランソワ オゾン, Benoit Jacquot, and Catherine Breillat will be in the Canadian city to promote their latest films to audiences and industry professionals, the key to ensuring a well-orchestrated release in North America.
Les Petits mouchoirs by Guillaume Canet and しあわせの雨傘 by François Ozon will be presented in gala screenings, while some twenty other French titles (including Of Gods and Men, Outside the Law L' Illusionniste, Red Heads / Our Day Will Come, and world premieres of Big Picture and Yves Saint Laurent - Pierre Bergé, l'amour fou) will be screened among the 300 films showcased in the various festival sections until September 19.
As is the case each year, Unifrance will provide a locale dedicated to French sales agents to assist them in scheduling their meetings and selling their films.
