Carole Bouquet in Moscow to launch the French Cinema Today event
Carole Bouquet will be in Moscow for a screening of Unforgivable and the launch of the 12th French Cinema Today Festival.
Carole Bouquet, who is currently co-president of the Franco-Russian Film Academy, will travel to Russia November 22 for a screening of André Téchiné's film Unforgivable, which was presented at Cannes this year.
This screening will mark the launch the 12th French Cinema Today Festival in Russia, an event organized by uniFrance Films with support from Hennessy and the French Embassy in Moscow.
A double press conference will be held following a press screening, the first conference devoted to the film Unforgivable, attended by Carole Bouquet, while the second will focus on the festival.
This year's festival will take place in Moscow from December 4 through 9, followed by Kazan from December 10 through 12. Five premiere screenings are scheduled of films already acquired by distributors, serving as a launch pad for these titles: American Translation by Jean-Marc Barr and Pascal Arnoldserving, The Straight Line by Régis Wargnier, A Gang Story by Olivier Marchal, My Little Princess by Eva Ionesco, Butterfly Kiss by Karin Silla, Black Venus by Abdellatif Kechiche. Pascal Arnold, Jean-Marc Barr, Eva Ionesco, Olivier Marchal, Daniel Duval, Tchéky Karyo, Vincent Perez, Karine Silla, Yahima Torres, and Régis Wargnier will be in Russia to present their films. An additional screening will be held in Kazan only of Declaration of War by Valérie Donzelli, a film that has not as yet secured a Russian distributor.
