Thirty French artists travel to Latin America to promote their films
For the third consecutive year, uniFrance Films organized a press junket in Latin America.
8 journalists came from Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico to meet the 33 French directors and actors who'd come to promote 24 films that will release in these countries in upcoming months.
Benoît Jacquot and Léa Seydoux for Farewell, My Queen, Vincent Rottiers and Christa Theret for Renoir, Emmanuelle Bercot for Elle s'en va, Catherine Frot for Haute Cuisine, Stéphane Robelin and Pierre Richard for All Together, François Ozon and Ernst Umhauer for In the House, Noémie Lvovsky and Judith Chemla for Camille Rewinds, Bruno Dumont for Camille Claudel 1915, Jérôme Cornuau for The Crossing, Philippe Le Guay for Cycling with Moliere, Jérôme Enrico and Bernadette Lafont for Paulette, Carine Tardieu for The Dandelions, Rémi Bezançon for Zarafa, Jean-Pierre Bacri and Agathe Bonitzer for Under the Rainbow, Marc Barbé and Léo-Paul Salmain for Calm at Sea, Clotilde Hesme and Raphaël Personnaz for Three Worlds, Alice Winocour and Vincent Lindon for Augustine, Laurent Cantet for FoxFire and 7 Days in Havana, Daniel Auteuil for The Well Digger's Daughter, Anne Fontaine for Perfect Mothers, Daniel Cohen for The Chef, Jérôme Bonnell for Just a Sigh, and Danièle Thompson for It Happened in Saint-Tropez.
This press junket increases in size each year (20 artists represented 15 films in 2012). It allows members of the press to meet French artists in a concentrated fashion, eliminating the difficulties individual promotional tours would create if the artists had to travel to each of the territories, and thereby ensuring high press coverage at the moment of the films' release.
