ジェラルディン・マルティノはフローレン演劇学校で優待生として、無料で演劇の勉強を積み、後にフランス国立高等演劇学校へ入学する。舞台とテレビに出演する傍ら、映画でも端役を数回に渡り演じる。『Aglaée(アグラエ)』では障害を持った中学生役を演じ、2011年、アンジェ映画祭とクレルモン・フェラン映画祭で、共に優秀賞を受賞する。
