After several fast and loose years away from home, burning the candle at both ends, Viviane, the prodigal daughter, returns to Monthermé, the little village where her parents and her younger half-brother, Marc, still live. As Marc, a fifteen year-old high school student, renews contact with his sister, sublimated after her long absence, he begins the difficult apprenticeship of independence and its consequent responsabilities. Viviane decides to take Marc under her wing, hiding nothing from him of her turbulent lifestyle. The young woman, who is the kept companion of a number of local high shots whom she treats with impertinence, captivates her younger brother with her charm and her outlandish behaviour. The two of them take trips off to Belgium, spend sleepless nights out together and trade closely-guarded secrets that break with the monotonous, drizzling gray of Marc's usual routine. With this silent witness looking on, gestures flicken and form, bodies come into contact and complicity begins to take shape...
