The action of "Tender Heart" takes place at the present time in Alma Ata. The main character, Aijan, a 45 year old woman, is a former star ballet dancer. She is a dance professor at the Opera. She is well off and her existence seems peaceful. Her pleasant and problemless life is suddenly upset the day when Adik, a 25 year old young man, druk, tries to rape her. This is the beginning of a deadly passion between this woman and the young outcast. Adik, raving with love, starts following her everywhere. Aijan becomes an absolute obsession for him. Aijan tries everything at her reach to forbid this young man - who is the same age as her son - to enter her life. Between these two beings a strange relationship will be established, made both out attraction and of refusal. But this mad love becomes too intense for Adik's tender heart...
