"My little business" is rhe result of wanting to write something for Vincent Lindon, Roschdy Zem and François Berléand - actors i love to work with. I also wanted to carry on the social spirit of "Fred", but from a more mocking viewpoint. It's the désire to give concrete expression to my conversation with producer Frédéric Bourboulon. It's wanting to make use of my co-screenwriter Simon Michael's experiences. It's the delight of once again meeting Zabou Breitman, with Catherine Mouchet and of succeeding, at last, in meeting with Alain Bashung. In fact, when i speak about the film, i speak about the people who made it, because the cinema is like a little business: human being are what counts- Pierre Jolivet -Director-
