Three friends draw up a list of their former lovers. Annette, resourceful, has had quite a few; today, she’s trying to get hitched. Clara, ambitious, is looking for a useful lover to help her carry out her church project... As for Valérie, sentimental, she has tied the knot to a life of lasting fulfilment... Soon everyone will end up in the same place, there, where no one thought to go...

About
People practise judo in this film because it makes them feel good – not only the athletic activity, but the philosophy behind the human contact. Inside a judo club, money no longer counts: people help one another, make casual acquaintances, everyone wears a white kimono and removes all accessories (glasses, watches, rings, jewelry). That means social differences are no longer visible, only differences in behavior count. At the end of the movie, everyone winds up on the tatami.
