Not long ago, in New York, I met Philippe Petit, who is probably the most famous highwire artist of our time. I asked him “Weren’t you scared when you walked that wire between the twin towers of the World Trade Center?” He answered “No. Once I stepped onto the wire, I knew I couldn’t fall.” So that was it! It was all about taking the first step.
