Paris, in the height of dizzy summer vacation.
Paul, a shy bookworm student from the provinces who has come to the capital to study Political Science, sits reading on the park bench in the Luxembourg gardens. One afternoon, when timidly following a young woman he'd noticed a few days earlier, he meets Fab, a get-ahead, efficent, apparently misogynistic kind of guy, who teaches him about the art of cruising.
At first, Paul religiously records the tips of the craft in his diary, but he soon distances himself from his mentor and concentrates on his studies. In so doing, he betrays the man who offered him his knowledge and friendship...
