Julia, a woman in her sixties, prepares to leave her city, Istanbul, to join her family and her grand-daughter Aviva in Tel-Aviv. Aviva, 8-years-old, spends her last summer with her grand-mother in Istanbul. She witnesses the difficulties Julia encounters while leaving her house, her city, her things. Among the things, which Julia is trying to get rid of, there is an oil-painting, divided into pieces, and of which Julia has only one part. Unable to abandon her past, Julia goes to search for the other part of the painting. Aviva, intrigued by a little hole on the painting, finally brings life to it.
