Mes toits et moi de Anne Morin (2003)

あらすじ

Anne M., a good looking woman in her thirties, feels the need to sort out her life and get her head together. But when she takes this decision, she has no idea what will ensue: shady goings-on, dramas and misunderstandings. Anne M. begins her task by organising it around three houses, a camera, a meatball soup, architectural plans, and meetings with lawyers in France and in her native Bulgaria. To start with, she sells the share of the house she bought two years earlier to her ex-boyfriend who still wants to continue living in it. She then goes to the Vaucluse to work out with her father the legal strictures that will apply when he dies so that she can inherit his home. After which, Anne then has to go to Sofia where her mother and cousins are about to sell the family residence to a property developer. Through this peripatetic course of action, Anne Morin delivers a tragi-comic reflection on the often illusory material constituents of social relationships and the working out of a sense of identity.
