A bad moment for Black. His last hold-up in Paris turned into a massacre and all his acolytes were killed. While he ponders changing profession, his cousin Lamine calls him from Daka and offers him an easy job, a really easy job: to steal a briefcase full of smuggled diamonds deposited in a bank. In next to no time, Black puts together a crew and flies to Africa and money.
Except he's not the only one on the job. The bank's director himself, associated with an arms trafficker afflicted by purulent psoriasis, closely followed by a gang of mercenaries who've just flown in from Chechnya, also want to get their hands on the loot.
Cramped by Pamela Jones, an Interpol agent with disconcerting charms, Black must first help her overcome their enemies, then deal with a strange prophecy that lies dormant within the heart of Africa.
