Since her father died, Coco lives alone with her mother. Every night, she gallops through the streets dressed in a penguin costume, convinced that one day she will fly away as her father promised she would. She is, of course, the laughing stock of the neighborhood children, until the day she meets a strange creature named Chaley, who takes her to discover a goblin village. In her costume, she is mistaken for the fabled "Valiant Flightless Bird" meant to save all goblin-kind from destruction. Coco must confront the demonic Bucca-Boo, Emperor of Darkness, to help her new friends and to learn to fly with her own wings.
