Eléonore is a gorgeous twenty-year-old who has lost her parents and one of her arms in an accident. She lives in an orphanage in Burgandy.
Judge London, a provincial magistrate of mature age, wants to make the young woman happy. He quickly takes her under his wing, going so far as to adopt her and bringing her to live at his chateau.
Eléonore, meanwhile, is in love with Robinson, a magician at The Fetishist cabaret. This shady dive is run by a certain Renaud Duraquet, an unscrupulous opportunist with a hand in various dirty deals and trafficking.
A series of odious crimes perpetrated on young women leads the judge quickly suspect Robinson, who was once involved in a plot that earned him several months in jail.
But Judge London, a collector of evidence, also has his dark side. Thanks to a two-way mirror on the wall between his bedroom and Eléonore's, he watches the young woman each night as she prepares for bed, washing the area where he arm once was.
Has Eléonore found refuge in the house of a dangerous maniac?
