Open Kitchen takes us on a wander, plunges us into a building, the public housing project where I live. The film explores its length and breadth, captures its height, gets caught in its maze, slips into its structure. It enters apartments and probes its architecture through the gaze of the people who live in it.
Open Kitchen is an architectural and personal stroll, between reality and virtual reality. This film confronts the idealist vision of architecture, and the town planning project with the reality of the building, its inhabitants, and everyday existence.
