In Novaciéries, (LA)HORDE establishes a contemplative situation where different aspects of jumpstyle - a dance arising out of the mainstream hardcore movement - are staged and performed anew to provide a mysterious account of the different aspects of the development of a post-Internet dance.
The film is a global project which mixes filmed images recorded by (LA)HORDE during a shoot with a film crew, along with glimpses of a performance with the film's cast, and archival images taken by the performers (homemade videos) themselves.
Combining film, performance, and home videos, Novaciéries transcends filmed dance to make a choreographed and metaphysial portrait of a post-industrial world, by reinterpreting a post-Internet dance.
