A nation that has been ravaged for many years by a civil war that seems impossible to resolve. Civilians whose village has been destroyed take refuge in an old secluded farmhouse. A group of revolutionaries on the run are also stranded here, and use their greater experience to take control of the site, under the command of Alexis. Ava, a young village woman, can no longer tolerate the situation and yearns for a better life, outside the walls that are holding her in.
