From New York to Paris, from Beijing to London, from Tehran to Sydney, millions of children have one thing in common with their parents, their grandparents and their great grandparents, they have all watched Snow-White, Bambi or Peter Pan, and since then, they see in part the world through the gaze that Walt Disney himself portrayed on nature, on family, on friendship or courage, on wickedness or death. But who exactly is this man, whose surname would be an anglicization of the French name D’Isigny, and who said that in order to achieve something truly extraordinary, you have to start by dreaming it?
