あらすじ
Coexistence, My Ass! follows activist-turned-comedian Noam Shuster Eliassi as she writes, lives, and stages her one-woman show (of the same name) about racism, sexism, war, peace, and… her ass.
But can her potent political satire, dished out in a mouthwatering and thought-provoking blend of Hebrew, Arabic, and English (with a touch of Farsi), help steer her compatriots away from the fallacy of co-existence toward a more substantive, solidarity-based co resistance?
The film navigates the serious terrain of Middle East peace with a healthy dose of humor, offering a fresh perspective on the stale struggle for justice and equality in the most divided land in the world – one joke at a time.
While the horrific events of October 7th and its devastating aftermath have created unprecedented personal turmoil, the political truths Noam has always espoused, remain valid today and will continue to endure long after: everyone between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea deserves to feel safe and must also be free.
