Ben Russell's La Prospettiva (1653) explores perspective, illusion, architecture, and the passage of time through the Colonnade of the Palazzo Spada in Rome. Filmed within Francesco Borromini's celebrated Baroque perspective illusion, the six-minute work observes both the architectural composition and the quiet human labour involved in
maintaining it. The film turns an architectural illusion into a meditation on perspective, permanence, labour, and time.

Sixteen-year-old Diane exists exclusively through her mother's gaze. But this intensely close bond between Diane and her mother, Sophie, is becoming increasingly problematic for the teenager. A loudmouth, provocative, and seeking attention, Diane tries to stand apart from her mother and wishes, during a weekend, to live like an adult.
