UniFrance Films has created this new award to raise the profile of short film export companies and acknowledge the continuous, long-term efforts required to achieve goals in this sector.
Within the framework of a study conducted annually on international sales of French short films, and after an examination of its findings, UniFrance Films has selected five sales companies to make up a shortlist for the new Export Prize for a Short Film Producer. The following companies have been selected as finalists:

As part of the final selection process to decide on the prizewinner, each company will be invited to the UniFrance Films head office to meet with a jury composed of Gaëlle Mareschi (Kinology), Lise Zipci (Les Films du Losange), Yoann Ubermulhin (UniFrance Films), and Bernard Payen (La Cinémathèque Française).
The winning company will be announced at a press conference to be held on January 16 during the 2015 Rendez-Vous with French Cinema event in Paris.
Sponsored notably by the service providers Reelport and Ymagis, this award honors the efforts made by producers to promote French short films in international markets and aims to boost the visibility of French short films abroad.
