The Stockholm French Film Festival, to be held for the fifth time this year from May
3 through June 6, will present 17 feature films and 13 short films to Swedish audiences.
For the fifth year running, the French Institute in Stockholm, the French Embassy, the Sture Cinema and Triangelfilm are hosting a French Film Festival in the Swedish capital. This event also benefits from support from FolketsBio, the Swedish Cinematheque and Unifrance.
The selection is put together by the French Institute, the Sture Cinema and Triangelfilm. All films presented are yet to be released in the country, and could well be picked up by Swedish buyers following their presentation at the festival.
The festival will also present three feature films in preview screenings prior to their release in theaters as part of the festival:

The short film selection was put together along with Unifrance's Short Film Department.
The 30 films selected will be screened at the Sture Cinema (in the Europa Cinemas theaters), owned by Triangelfilm, a complex of three fully refurbished theaters, located in the heart of the city.
To coincide with the festival, French film retrospectives (in particular one dedicated to actress Isabelle Huppert) programmed by the Swedish Cinematheque (Swedish Film Institute) will be screened at the Sture Cinema. And finally, French films already showing commercially in Sweden will also be screened at the Sture.
