The 34th Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival served as a launching pad for uniFrance Films' new BtoB service, the Short Film Gallery.
A key event for short film enthusiasts and professionals from around the world, this year's Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival closed its doors on February 4, 2012. 170 films were included in the various festival sections, including the national and international competitions and the Labo section, with 31 programs presented, along with special programs and retrospective events showcasing the latest creations from new generation filmmakers.
The Grand Prize in the national competition was awarded to What We'll Leave Behind by Vincent Macaigne. クレルモンフェラン-国際短編映画祭
This year's festival was also the opportunity for uniFrance Films to launch its new BtoB service created for use by international film festivals, buyers, and distributors. The Short Film Gallery makes use of new technological advances in the digitization of content to allow movie professionals worldwide (available to those who are included in the uniFrance Films database and benefit from specific access rights) to view French short films in full, in connection with festival selections or rights acquisition for distribution or broadcast (theatrical, TV, VOD, Internet, etc.), or for any other use approved by the films' copyright owners.
The Short Film Gallery is compatible with iPhone and iPad technology (excluding subtitling at this stage) as well as Android tablets (including the subtitling facility).
