Hercule et Sherlock
あらすじ
If only the handover on the Marseille docks hadn't dragged on into the wee hours... If the Drug Squad hadn't suddenly appeared out of nowhere... If the money hadn't been stashed in a warehouse containing hundreds of identical crates... Antoine Morand - a crime boss specializing in forged banknotes - wouldn't have been arrested. He would'nt have watched the TV in his prison cell, nor would he have had the brainware of having two of his henchmen, Vincent and Bruno, kidnap Hercule and Sherlock ; two dogs trained by customs to sniff out ... forged bills ! Their mission accomplished, and despite their mutual aversion, Vincent and Bruno are going to have to cohabit... with the dogs ! But, surprise ! Hercule and Sherlock have talent to burn ! They're amazing at football, know how to use a fridge, are crazy about zapping, and are hilarious pranksters...

"I first met Richard, in whom I instantly recognized the character of Bruno. Christophe and he have been friends for seventeen years : the first led me to the second. Christophe agreed to dent his hero image and play the role of Vincent as it was written. He was up for doing a comedy. The dogs weren't to come across as a foil, but as characters in their own right. I immediately thought of them as a couple as opposed to individuals. In fact, what I really had in mind was the story of two couples - the men and the dogs - and I was careful not to tip the balance in either direction. I paid particular attention to the affective side. I realized very early on that the two dogs responded much better as a twosome than individually. They seemed bonded by a kind of latent complicity."
