あらすじ
A high school student in her final catches the eye of a man from eastern Europe on a bus, and so their love affair begins. About
“Take two separate figures: a 40-year-old man and a teenage girl. Now calculate the probability that they will meet and have a wild time together. An equation, or problem, that’s how Sabine views her life—like math. Everything can be solved. Starting with money problems. With her parents on welfare, money is short. But since Sabine is gifted in math, she sells her help to her friends. Then she meets Jiri, which ruins everything. She’s not used to being listened to, or loved. So she balks: too many unknown parameters, too many unknown values. Help, math! No good, she’ll just have to figure it out on her own, relying on her feelings, emotions, and love. But Sabine’s a maverick, she’s not at home with either her silly, spotty friends or with outmoded adults who are out of their depth. So there’s only one answer: go off on a tangent.
There’s a great deal of freshness and originality in this angry yet tender portrait of a young rebel just cutting her teeth. An education in love and feelings that expresses all the charm and pain of adolescence, with a very convincing young actress.”
