Violetta, the Motorcycle Queen
あらすじ
At 17, Amélie leaves her family home, but leaves no address. After a ten-year absence, she returns. Of what was a home, she finds a vacant lot strewn, like before, with wrecked motorbikes, and a wooden shack. Of her family, only her brother Adrien remains, a dreamy drop-out hitting the bottle. Their father is dead. Amélie didn't know. She barely feels any sadness. Instead she sets out to shake those who now live on the wasteland out of their slumber. Her father had built a huge metal sphere for a dare-devil motorcycle number. Amélie learns to ride a bike, masters her dad's routine, and hits the road. Now called "Violetta, Queen of Acrobatics" she travels with her little band in tow. But her enthusiasm masks her inner pain. Amélie has scores to settle. She's chasing her past, and about to catch up with it...
