あらすじ
Just one of those days. Marc had arranged everything, planning every detail to make Sabine's birthday a success. He found the perfect gift and, since Sabine had agreed to marry him, he even invited her parents to the party. But the perfect day became a perfect horror due to the unexpected appearance of a former, aggressively jealous girlfriend, of a senile tenant, of a dumb and over-emotional secretary, of a dangerously casual concierge, of a bitter accident case, of more or less illegal West Indian immigrants, and of a naked Polish lady. Just one of those days. . . .

About
"'What a Shitty Day' is a movie in the tradition of French comedies. I'm thinking of people like Veber and Dabadie, who I admire a lot and who, along with Blier and Tavernier, are the French filmmakers who inspired me to make movies. I'm also nostalgic for the days when there were gangs of buddies, the Venturas, Audiards, Bliers. I like the idea of bringing life back to the movies. We shot for eight weeks with a veritable troupe led not only by Berry and Brochet, of course, but also Charmetant, Perrot, Melki, and Garraud, and I think everyone had as much fun as me. I hope the joyfulness is visible in the film."
