あらすじ
We're in a lovely little town deep in the heart of Europe. It's invisible from the highway, hard to find. No factories, pollution, only 200 inhabitants. Long live Ecology. Right, but when I arrived, without really intending to, and I saw the peaceful farmers on their tractors beside teenagers practicing armed combat, lovely women with eleven hits under their belts… Well, when I learned that these fine hicks are contract killers, knocking off the highfliers of the world, all those who've died in mysterious circumstances, from Henry IV, Lincoln, Kennedy, right up to Pope John-Paul I, when I learned that, I was scared stiff and never quite recovered… Particularly when I fell madly in love with Pauline, Killer Numero Uno. And believe me, the Mafia are choirboys compared to this crew! And what if all the unexplained deaths since 1614 (Ravaillac assassinates Henri IV) were the work of an anonymous brotherhood who looked exactly like you, dear honest citizens?

About
Young actors have slim résumés. I choose them on the basis of auditions, or for a special physique that I’m looking for. As far as I’m concerned, after having seen so many young actors take their first steps (Brigitte Bardot, Claudia Cardinale, Michèle Mercier and Alain Delon), I think my actors display the same qualities and faults as their glorious predecessors. I think they’ll make something of it. In any case, I’ve done what I could for them.
