あらすじ
Bintou lives in Ouagadougou with her husband, Abel, and three children. One day, overriding Abel's opposition, she decides that their daughter will go to school. But she has to make money first. On a friend's suggestion, she starts a small business to sell sprouting millet. After many misadventures, Bintou succeeds by her tenacity and willpower and manages to win Abel over to her point of view: their daughter will go to school thanks to the money she has earned. A humorous, modern tale about the respect between men and women, and equal rights in education and employment.
