あらすじ
Fifty-year-old Jean-Louis Broustal, a television producer, has all that he could wish for: a hugely successful career, a divine wife and money to burn. What's more, his latest show, "Take Out the Tissues," presented by star host Philippe Letzger, is riding at the top of the audience ratings.
Bastien, lowly technician on this dubious show, knows he deserves a much better position. And although he lets himself be humiliated by Letzger, at Broustal Productions, it's only because it allows him the opportunity of rubbing shoulders with Jean-Louis Broustal, his idol.
When the latter invites him to spend the weekend at his home in the country working on Bastien's concept for a new show it's like a dream come true. The dream gets even better when, having barely arrived at the sumptuous architect-designed home in the woods, Bastien meets his boss's young wife, Clara. She proves to him that she takes hospitality very seriously indeed.
The next morning, Broustal - with bonus and promises as back up - offers Bastien the chance of hosting his own show in exchange for a strange contract. Bastien is willing to play the game, but as the hours go by, he discovers there's more to the couple than meets the eye. It's too late, for Bastien's boss and his wife have decided to amuse themselves with their guest and Jean-Louis will prove to Bastien that manipulating people's emotions is his favorite pastime.
