あらすじ
"How do you document a terrible war like the one that we just went through in Lebanon last July? How can you continue to make films, believe in them after going through such catastrophe? What can images show, especially fictional ones?
We hence imagined a film, a filmic experiment, where a very beautiful woman, a world icon, a great actress would come to Lebanon. She would encounter Rabih Mroué, our favorite actor. Together they would go to the south 'to see', and through their eyes, allow us to see again in other ways those things which fill us with pain.
For us, this woman is Catherine Deneuve. We wrote the film for her, with her in mind and she gave us the gift of accepting this part." - Joana Hadjithomas and Khalil Joreige
