あらすじ
Scordatura: original way of tuning stringed instruments practised in the Renaissance and allowing to create uncommon harmonies. The tension of the modified chords produces unusual sound effects.
Federico, young cellist, goes to visit the a workshop of a French stringed-instrument maker settled in Rome to get back an instrument made from fragments of a damaged violin. When the stringed-instrument maker's assistant offers to fix the chords, Federico opposes it. A dialogue, then begins, revealing the history and the value of this instrument, in resonance with the internal movements which live inside the protagonists. From this painful narrative will be born a music with unexpected tones: a metaphoric scordatura.
