あらすじ
A masterpiece of Medieval Armenian poetry, the Book of Lamentations by Grigor Narekatsi (or Gregory of Narek), a mystical theologian from the tenth century, is the most important and beloved text of the Armenian people. It is a book they carry with them in all circumstances, even the most tragic. Comparable to a wide ocean whose waves endlessly gush forth, the Book of Lamentations offers inexhaustible streams of feelings and images expressed through the pen and ink of its author. Using those same tools one thousand years later, this film seeks to reveal to us a few drops from this tumultuous deluge.
