あらすじ
In the Ardenne Abbey, in the sumptuous reading room of the Institute of Contemporary Publishing Archives (IMEC), Isabelle Ullern opens a box containing the archives of Sarah Kofman.
We join her as she plunges into the work and personal life of this French philosopher who, after sinking into depression following the publication of the story of her early life as a Jewish child in hiding during the German Occupation, took her own life in October 1994. As the boxes are opened, the archivist acts as a ventriloquist for the voice of the absent philosopher: by reawakening the memories in these archives, Isabelle Ullern becomes, for the duration of the film, a vessel for Sarah.
