あらすじ
A stupid insect at the lower end of the food chain endures its existence as prey in the forest. But suddenly, the established order is overthrown and the insect inadvertently triggers a sequence of increasingly serious accidents. It causes a wildfire that results in the destruction of the spacecraft in which the insect was living. The spacecraft crashes on Earth, resulting in the extinction of the dinosaurs. The insect is the only survivor of the disaster, and is now able to rule this new territory.

Sixteen-year-old Diane exists exclusively through her mother's gaze. But this intensely close bond between Diane and her mother, Sophie, is becoming increasingly problematic for the teenager. At high school, she would like to be loved like she is at home and expresses it in an awkward way like when she exchanges a favor for a look, in the toilets. A loudmouth, provocative, and seeking attention, Diane tries to stand apart from her mother and wishes, during a weekend, to live like an adult.
