あらすじ
Joel and Murielle Pécourneau, their two daughters, 15-year-old Emilie, and her little sister Lola, together form a united family of farmers, despite the debts that accumulate to save their farm. Until the day when, while trying to help out a neighbour, they receive a hefty fine for the “illegal” sale of a chicken for 10 euros… This news puts the Pécourneau family even more under pressure. As a last resort to lift the fine, they really go into poultry farming, taking out a new loan from the bank. But a new European regulation cut short their hopes and places them again in an extreme difficulty. While her father's life is on hold and the future of the farm is greatly threatened, Emilie decides to publicize her story, mobilizing as many people as possible around her parents' cause. Emilie, a peasant's daughter, will she succeed in saving her family?
