あらすじ
In order to connect the numerous sanatoriums located on the plateau with the valleys below, 15 tunnels were dug into the mountain beneath the Contemporary Art Center of Lacoux at the beginning of the 20th century. The progress of medicine made the sanatoriums obsolete, and the project was eventually abandoned. This labyrinth in a straight line, hidden in the heart of the mountain, is still present to this day. The old dream keeps palpitating through the landscape. The resurgences, abysses and cliffs scattered throughout the territory form, with these tunnels, an implicit and secret topography. 36 Dreams melts the rubble of the mountain with sleeping faces and merges waterfalls into darkness. From one screen to another, the visual echoes as well as the sound composition of Les Marquises, similar to a dreamlike elegy, plunge the viewer into the heart of a liquid landscape with undecidable matter and confused dimensions.
