The Factory of lies : At the Heart of Climate Change Denial
あらすじ
Climate change caused by human action is a certainty. Yet, despite this scientific fact, it is still common to hear people relativizing it or looking for others to blame. According to one study, by 2023, 1 in 4 French people will be climate sceptics or deniers. Whether conspiracy theorists, scientists or lobbyists, doubt merchants are working all over the world to divert attention. Denialists spread a multitude of preconceived ideas about the climate. How have they managed, by dint of manipulation, to take public opinion by storm and undermine the credibility of scientists, thereby threatening to save the planet?
