A documentary recording the stage play "Golem" directed by Amos Gitai and performed at a festival held in Pompeii, Italy, in June 2025. Set in medieval Europe, the story unfolds around the clay figure "Golem" from Kabbalah mythology. While numerous literary works exist on the theme of the Golem, Gitai's work was most inspired by "The Golem," a novel written by Nobel Prize-winning American author Isaac Bashevis Singer. The opening quotes Virginia Woolf's essay "Thoughts on Peace under an Air Raid" published during World War II. The cast features actors associated with Gitai's films, including Irène Jacob, Micha Lescot, and Bahira Ablassi.
