Huguette is 80 years old. A former French teacher, she has been living alone in extreme poverty since her husband passed away.
Marion, her neighbour across the landing, is 45 years old.
She is a nurse and finds it very difficult to balance the demands of her job with the attention she would like to give to her 15-year-old son Rémi, whom she is raising alone and who is struggling to find his place at school.
Their destinies cross when Marion takes in Huguette, who has been evicted from her home.
In return, Huguette, drawing on her years of teaching experience, tries to help Rémi prepare for secondary school.
Not without difficulty, our three heroes help each other and try to find a balance in this fragile and unusual cohabitation.
